Respiratory Surveillance
To help your company meet OSHA Respiratory Surveillance Protection Program regulations, not only does testing have to be conducted on the air quality of the work facility, but employees themselves are required to participate in screenings and tests. OSHA regulation 29 CFR-1910.134 requires a minimum of "medical clearance questionnaire and respiratory fit testing." Once the medical questionnaire is reviewed by a physician, further tests could be recommended before an employee is cleared to wear a respirator. But trying to match up each employee's schedule with a convenient testing location, all by a certain target date, can be a logistical headache.
